Design by Faina M. Letoutchaia. Faina's memories of time spent on the shores of the Baltic Sea inspired the name of this lovely lace stole. She cleverly worked increases and decreases into the pattern that allow the seed stitch borders to remain straight while they frame the waves of lace that flow back and forth. Sport weight mohair or wool. Pattern may also be made in lace weight using a smaller needle. This will make a narrower stole, or you can add repeats for more width.
